Igniting Passion for the Arts with Broadway Beginners
Perrysburg Musical Theatre (PMT) is making waves by introducing a delightful new class titled "Broadway Beginners," specifically designed for young aspiring actors aged 4-7. Launching on December 2, 2025, this engaging 45-minute session will blend the exciting worlds of musical theater and acting skills, providing a perfect platform for budding stars to express themselves creatively.
Fun-Filled Learning and Teamwork
The essence of this class lies in its interactive approach. Led by the enthusiastic Artistic Director Julie Bermudez and her talented team, students can expect to dive into a series of fast-paced games, improv exercises, and fundamental music concepts. This structure will not only introduce them to the performing arts but also help build essential social skills like communication, teamwork, and confidence. As they participate in enriching activities such as crafts and the upcoming showcase, they will be honing valuable techniques that will serve them well in future productions.
Showcase Opportunity and Importance of Attendance
This interactive journey culminates in a showcase presentation of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears, the Musical" on January 10, 2026. The showcase, lasting approximately 20 minutes, is set to showcase the hard work and dedication of all participating students. Given that attendance is vital to ensure a cohesive performance, parents are encouraged to prioritize class participation ahead of the rehearsal on January 9, 2026. It’s an invaluable chance for young learners to shine on stage and share their newfound passion with family and friends.
