This fall, a transformative educational program known as Broadway Spotlight is set to launch at the 92nd Street Y (92NY) in New York City. The initiative, which partners with the hit Broadway musical Hell’s Kitchen, aims to immerse up to 900 public high school students in the arts through an engaging ten-week residency. Most participants will come from Title I schools, often under-resourced but filled with potential waiting to be realized.

Beginning this month, students enrolled in the program will enhance their Theater and English Language Arts classes by integrating their learning with an exploration of Hell’s Kitchen.
